HQ Barbecue

Outstanding. My son who lives in by Huron could not stop talking about how great the food is here. Well he was not wrong. Been all over the country and had smoked BBq all over the place!!! This ranks among the best!!! The Brisket is Amazing!!! Highly recommend. We moved to Florida from Ny and own a home in Huron , finally a great okace to get a great meal

AHHHMAZING brisket! Tender, and delicious with that coveted pit smoked flavor not readily found at many, and seemingly elusive to most BBQ joints, but definitely not the case here!

HQ Barbecue takes it’s time and does it right.

From hand selected choice meat, to their special rubs and close attention to quality from the butcher shop to your table, the proof is ALL there in the flavor.

The side items are equally on par with the smoked meats too! The baked beans were loaded with smokey bacon, the coleslaw was excellent, but the chicken pot pie…. Showstopper! Literally chocked full of tender chicken with veggies and the flakiest delicious pie crust, so incredible it’ll remind you of the homemade pie crusts that your grandma used to make from scratch!

From beginning to end, the food here is unparalleled, as is the customer service from the owner Gene and his always courteous and smiling staff! I wouldn’t be surprised if this gem (quietly tucked in a plaza for the moment) doesn’t explode in popularity and quickly outgrow it’s location (maybe even franchise???)

My brother and I stopped here on a drive from Michigan and I can’t wait to go back and would eat here everyday if I were local!

Pro tip: Get there earlier in the day for your favorite BBQ (pulled pork, brisket, ect…) because the HQ Barbecue secret is getting out and they seem to be selling out of their delicious BBQ more quickly by the day!
