Friendly staff, the owner is very accomplished. Prices are good for the quantity and quality. If you are looking for good farm to table food this is the place to go. They went above and beyond.

The place is great. They give you a ton of food. The menu is small though so your options are very limited.

They don't have a lot in terms of pancakes and waffles either. So if you need those for breakfast I wouldn't recommend this place.

Fabulous homemade food! Nice staff, hot headed cook but always love our time and meals here! Try the amazing apple crisp topped with creamy homemade ice cream! To die for!

Far and away, this is one of the best places in the area. The dishes are all classics and perfectly made, plus the owner/ chef takes the farm-to-table concept seriously. He makes his own fennel sausage (so delicious!), and his daily specials are phenomenal. We had the sausage sandwich and the pot roast, and we'll definitely be back to try more. I cannot wait for summer when he'll have fried green tomatoes from his own garden on the menu. Bates Farm Kitchen should definitely be on your "must try" list.
