The Lunch Box

We had a group of 18 including 4 small children, no reservation, and they closed in an hour. No hesitation to get us a table. They were very welcoming, they even had toys and books for the kids. Service was great as well as the food. Prices were great also. I would recommend the walleye or perch sandwich and the cappuccino is great as well.

This is a very nice little restaurant especially handy for those who work downtown Sandusky. The menu offers a lot of choices. I had the Monte Cristo which isn't exactly the same as other places but it was still very good. My husband had a chicken Reuben sandwich and he ate every crumb.

The pineapple and chicken teriyaki sandwich was perfectly cooked, and an amazing combination of flavors that I would happily order again. (photos attached)

A friend ordered a turkey club. They used well cooked, real turkey which added that home made flavor other dining establishments only dream of recreating.

The sweet potato pie, was flavorful and leaps beyond what one can typically acquire in a grocery store. My taste buds were satisfied.

My only regret is that it is a few states away from where I reside... Otherwise, I could easily see becoming a regular.

Excellent service Theresa was so nice. Food was amazing with good portions. Definitely going to be a regular for us. Oh my son said good sugar frosted cookie.
