“In the past, we have always enjoyed Huggy's. Last night was an exception to the rule, the waitress what is very frazzled because of all the people that were there. She admitted to us that she was so we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. We ordered drinks ,I ordered Buffalo Trace bourbon which she came back and said we don't have any. So I went to the bar to see what other Bourbons were available as I know they have a good selection. They're on the bottom row was the Buffalo Trace. So we got that resolved. We ordered our dinner and I added a meat cheese tray as an appetizer explaining that we would like to have that served first. Then order for glasses of water. Half an hour later no food had shown up. I got up and went to the kitchen asking about our meat cheese platter and was told no order had been put in. So we finally got our meat cheese platter and then I asked for the water. The waitress then brought the water. By this time there was hardly anybody left in the place. No more excuses just bring the food. It all finally arrived except for a small pizza. Which we found out later had been dropped on the floor. The three of us ate our food while the fourth waited for the pizza. We finally cancel the pizza. Got up to pay our bill and the cook brought the pizza out that it finally been finished cooking. Gave us the pizza no charge. The most important part it was is that they did comp our drinks for the evening. Will still go back to Huggy's as we like the atmosphere but we will be very cautious about ordering food.”

“4-Star Home made/made to order. I rate breakfast by it's sausage gravy. The biscuits and gravy here is plentiful, but not exaggerated. I'd give it 4/5 for home-cooked flavor and value. Coffee was great - better than most, albeit a tad leisurely, but that's O.K. This is going to become a weekend regular for us for breakfast this winter. Full of friendly locals of all types. It's the kind I place I would really remember if I'd found it by accident somewhere else. I'm glad it's so close.”
