Happy Goat Gluten-Free Bakery & Bulk Foods

Not only are we blessed in Lancaster to have a Gluten Free bakery. We hit the jackpot with being able to have this one to go to! We call ahead order the chocolate glazed donuts put the box and all in the freezer take one out and microwave it and it tastes fresh and is as soft as the day we bought it. The breads and cupcakes are wonderful! It's also great when there is a party at school or someone's house to pick up a few cupcakes to send or take for your Glutenfree needs and not miss out. The owner and her husband are very sweet and really care about your needs. Thank you for choosing Lancaster!

Awesome place for gluten free cakes and breads. They even can 3D print your next cookie and cake designs. Super Way Cool!

Always a great experience at Happy Goat!! Customer service is always great. They truly care about their customers and their needs. They are always helpful and happy to answer any questions. The cupcakes are AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend, you will not be disappointed!!!

I was really disappointed in our visit for a number of reasons:

1. The offering at the store front was very minimal. I’m not sure if this is a function of it being a weekday or if they had sold the majority of their offerings earlier in the day but I was disappointed.
2. The cupcakes were not very good. We tried a gingerbread and the vanilla. The gingerbread was VERY dry and the vanilla was a little bit better but was nothing special. Definitely not yellow cake that I felt excited about spending almost $3 on. The worst was the icing...it was so incredibly cloyingly sweet it made my teeth hurt. I love me some icing too, but this just tasted like pure sugar...no lovely butter taste to off-set it.
3. The overall storefront left a lot to be desired. They advertise as a gluten free bakery AND bulk goods and from what was offered I feel like they are minimally meeting the bakery title, but having some packaged candies and spices does not mean you carry bulk goods.

The overall customer service was fine, but with gluten free bakeries like Bake Me Happy in the Columbus area, I wouldn’t visit again. You’re better off buying a great GF mix and making them yourself.
