Solid examples of Americanized Mexican cuisine in the middle of Ohio.
The staff was very friendly when I came in to have a beer or order takeout. Beer selection is not terrible for small town Ohio with a couple "major" craft beers and the standard light selection.
The food portions were HUGE. This is a plus if you have self control but it's difficult when the super nachos are so good. The wait for takeout was very short, roughly 10 minutes and the food was packaged well to stay warm (not always the case at many restaurants). I'd definitely recommend this place if you are staying in the Pickerington area.

Best Mexican food around and it's served very, very hot. So much better than getting cold food or cool food that's been sitting waiting to be brought to you. Other places should learn from La Fogata's. Great taste, good prices, and excellent service.

We’ve ate here a few times. Pretty good Mexican. Like many reviews good salsa and chips are the first impression a Mexican restaurant gives me and this place has pretty good chips, salsa, large portions and tasty margaritas. Good value on the dollar. Recommend the shredded chicken or beef items.

Great Mexican restaurant with competitive prices. Extensive menu with great food. Salsa some of the best I’ve had. Fast service!

The service is always great at La Fogata. I judge a Mexican restaurant by the salsa & enchilada sauce, and they're always good here.
The food isn't always as hot as I like it, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall, this is a great place for a reliably good Mexican style meal.
