Excellent food and always fun to watch it being prepared. The Groupon deal was good also

Great place to be with family my kids love it but I always leave more tip for chef I give it in their hand bc I feel they do the most always entertaining will definitely keep coming back

Loved Genjis and this place is better. Love they have more vegetable options and bean sprouts. I will definitely be coming back soon!

The sushi was delicious and a great price!! The hibachi was standard, nothing too amazing. Unfortunately our server was a bit of a mess, but I can't fault the restaurant for her issues

I gave Kyoto 4 stars because, while the food was fantastic, our waiter was not. It took a good 10 minutes AFTER we were all seated at the hibachi table before our waiter came to take our drink orders - and that was only after I asked another person if we even had a waiter! I swear he was high. He messed up who got which drinks, he messed up handing out the checks and then messed up handing back the credit cards! He came back once during the dinner to check on drinks. But he never cleared dishes during the meal so at a table of 8 people we had a bunch of dirty bowls from soup and salad that were empty that just sat on the table the whole time. He also disappeared for long chunks of time during our meal. Tables that were seated after us were in and out well before us because they had other waitstaff. Even the chef had a hard time reading his orders since he tried to give people the wrong food once he started cooking.

That being said, the chef was AMAZING. The food was absolutely delicious and once the chef was aware of who had what meal, the food ran smoothly. I would 100% return with the intention of trying to avoid that waiter (who was nice, but inept!).
