My new favorite Hibachi place in Columbus. I have visited Mr. Hibachi twice in the last two weeks and it has been amazing both times. They really put a lot of preparation and effort in their dishes. Unlike some other Hibachi places Mr. Hibachi’s food is packed with flavor. Additionally the portions are huge and prices are very affordable. I was quite surprised to see lobster tails on the menu. Topped with my favorite egg yolk sauce makes a wonderful meal! The employees are really helpful and polite. I truly felt welcomed and that is somewhat rare in today’s standards.
I would rate this restaurant five stars, however the interior is very underwhelming. The tables and chairs are very cheap and there is extremely limited seating available. I hope once the location starts thriving they are able to update the seating arrangements to better accommodate patrons.
Tried for the first time and it was great. The food is made to order so I knew to give some extra time. They told me 15-20 mins which was what it took to have fresh veggie hibachi and crab Rangoon. The veggies were perfect and I could actually taste them over the fried rice and sauce. I was really impressed!!!
the food was amazing! love the taste, and i cant get enough for the yum2 sauce!
be back again soon💓🤤
I read a couple Facebook comments saying how good this place was, so the wife and I decided to give it a try. We did take out, so I can only comment on the ordering and food. Front service was friendly; but the food was only so-so. It’s not that we didn’t like it, but I can’t see this place competing with Genjigo, except that it’s the only hibachi on this side of town. The fried rice seemed to only be brown rice kept in a steamer, and the overall flavor of the chicken, steak and vegetables were decent but not outstanding. You expect higher wishes from a newly opened place. Even though this was only my first visit, I’ll probably give it another chance later.
