My family always loves going to Dewey’s. The food is great. Service is always great and my kids love watching pizza being made. My daughter ate her first slice of pizza without a fork here. I hope they stick around for a long time.
Used to go to Dewey's all the time in Cincinnati, was exceptional there. Ordered a 17" Ryan's Inferno (Dewey's White Sauce, Buffalo Chicken, Gorgonzola, Red Onion, and Celery/Ranch after the bake), a 17" build your own Pepperoni, Carmelized Onion, and Goat Cheese, and a side Harvest Salad.
Overall the quality of the pizza is pretty good, but I have 3 main issues:
1. Quantity of toppings - I do not feel there are enough toppings for the price point, it's seemed like they were very light on the amount.
2. Price - their specialties/3 topping build your own cost around $22 for a 17" which is a lot considering how few toppings there are.
3. The specialty selection is lacking in my opinion. They only had 2 specialty pizzas out of 14 with pepperoni on them and 7 of 14 had their white sauce instead of red. May not sound like a big deal, but that's why I had to build my own for one of the pizzas.
Dewey's isn't what I remember from Cincinnati, but it's still pretty good. I rate the Pizza a 4.5, but since Google doesn't allow decimal reviews and due to the issues listed above, I rounded down to a 4.
Excellent service! I went around noon and had a regular peppercorn ranch salad with chicken, and it was huge and delicious. We also had a calzone that was good. I felt very cared about and looked after by the staff.
We really do love Dewey's Pizza, the food, service, and atmosphere are great, but sometimes you need to cut back on allowing large parties. The wait tonight was over an hour! Granted that is a personal opinion so others may not agree, but long customer wait times are still not a good thing. We wound up just ordering a pizza to go. Only had to wait 45 minutes.
Their parking is atrocious and not clearly marked.
The pizza is above average: the dough is the BEST you will ever have. Fresh, soft, and flavorful. However, my personal preference is a sweeter sauce which this is NOT. Dewey's sauce is a richer (a little acidic) with a little spicy heat to it. The sauce brings my review down to average. The price seemed right so give them a try just arrive early and look for a parking spot next door. Good luck.
