Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

Even though you always end up taking food home, Buca can be a good value. Got the Sunday special, garlic bread, salad, rigatoni with sauce and a plate of meatballs and sausage for $36. Feeds at least 3 comfortably. My wife and I did a little damage, but we'll have dinner at least twice this week with the leftovers. Great taste, service, and décor.

Very very good food. I thought prices was way to high. $20+ for a small pepperoni pizza. We had an antipasto salad for 3 and it was $21,. The pasta dish was a huge portion with shrimp, octopus, calamari and mussels in a white buttery sauce. 3 of us ate it and still took half of it home. Was even good heated up. My husband told server it was my b-day so she asked if I wanted a glass of wine for my birthday. I said yes. Was real surprised when we got the bill and she charged me $12.00 for a glass of wine and to top it off I really didn't like it. I had to force myself to drink it. I wish I would have told the manager about it. When the server says would you like a glass of wine for your birthday they should let you know that it isn't on the house. Needladd to say I will never tell them yes when asked if I want something for my birthday. Very dissatisfied about that

A really wonderful place for a date night or group get together! The place is so large that no matter what table you're sitting at, you feel like you have your own little corner to just enjoy the company of whoever your with. The food is spectacular, always cooked well.
I will say if you're heading over on the weekend, make a reservation. This place really fills up on the weekend. I will say,even if you go when they are packed, you still feel like you can connect with your table.

Everything was delicious!! Service was great! Family style dining is wonderful...unless you're there for a presentation and the group next to you is celebrating something...the closing of a sheer curtain doesn't block out chatter, laughter or merriment. Also, you're "not allowed" to carry out food leftover from an event according to our server because "management won't allow it and I could get fired". Not sure that was factual since I saw two others get leftover containers. Overall experience was wonderful!

Buca is about huge portions, served family style, and an interestingly colorful decor. This location takes the basement vibe seriously and it feels like you've stepped into your great-third-uncle's twice removed-second cousin's home that's remained a time capsule of family and various social event photos, and of course a slight reverence thrown in. Besides, where else do you know what prints in their menu that "Popes eat free" anyway? No matter what we order, there's always more than we need, and taste never disappoints. Even the macaroni and cheese managed to surprise us with just how good it was (but there's no way I want to look up the calories!). Maybe when our family gets more numerous we can stop taking so many leftovers home.
