Cucina Rustica

Unfussy place with solid Italian American fare. Great friendly service, and easy on the pocketbook.

My wife and I visited Cucina Rustica on Saturday May 18th around 6pm. Our visit was accidental. We had planned to eat at a different restaurant nearby only to find out it had moved. I Googled local restaurants near the Aurora/Bainbridge area and found Cucina Rustica. As you can check out in many of the photos it is a very nice Italian designed and decorated bar/restaurant.
Our waitress, an older lady who I think was named Karen(apologies if I got her name wrong), was very nice and gave us some great suggestions for dinner. I had a very nice Sangiovese wine. My wife a house chardonnay. My wife had the lobster salad special(off the regular menu), She could not stop raving how delicious it was. I had the meatballs with a side of spaghetti. They were delicious also. The marinara was on the sweet side the way I prefer it. We were both very happy with our meal. The service was great and the atmosphere reminded us of our trip to Italy last summer 2018. Very refreshing!

New menu. Some of my favorites missing which is too bad. Wait staff are great.

Service was okay....read the salad options clearly. House salad doesn't come with much lettuce mostly tomatoes. And she didn't put the correct dressing.

The tomato sauce was fake red stuff. And the French onion soup was so salty I'll be drinking water all night. The atmosphere however was very nice. The service was fine.
