Do you like Amish cooking? Buffets? This is your place to go. Mary Yoder's is in Middlefield and definitely worth the trip. The food, especially the chicken, is juicy and delicious. Everything is made right there, cooked as you would in your own kitchen. The mashed potatoes are real, not from a box. The salad bar is well equipped. Give Mary Yoder's a try. You won't be disappointed.
Homemade delicious food. Good variety and value for money. They have a beautiful gift shop and if you don't want to sit in can buy bread and baked goods to take home.
I'm not sure what all the hype is about this place, I was not happy. The buffet was odd. The selection was not what I expected. The food had a strange flavor to it. I've eaten at many Amish restaurants and they were fantastic. As well, this one didn't even have a breakfast to serve you for the most part. well, at least when I needed breakfast. All in all not happy probably not going to go back. one last mention, my son and his girlfriend love the place because they said the soup is fantastic. I have not had the soup, so I can't attest to this. But they swear by it. So you might want to go and try out the soup.
The atmosphere is truly quaint and county Amish Restaurant. The food is excellent and the service was superior. We held our Mother's Celebration of Life Remembrance Dinner in their party room. Yoder's was Mom's favorite restaurant and our guests all ordered from the menu. We were served promptly and no errors were made. The staff was accommodating accepting the flower delivery Saturday morning and provided a table for a picture display. Afterward we shopped in their country store and purchased some dessert to share at home.
Special thanks to all the staff at Mary Yoder's Amish Restaurant. Mother would have been very pleased. Blessings ????
