Royal Taj Indian Restaurant, Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, OH

I had a vegetarian sampler plate and an ice water. It included everything in the picture, and three small appetizer items. Not including tip, my total was under $15. I have enough leftover for another meal. It was delicious. One word of caution, though. The spicy scale is 1-6. I ordered a 3 and I sniffled through my entire meal. Very spicy, but very good! Everyone there was kind and checked on me often. On a Friday night, the dining area wasn't busy, but they had at least 7 DoorDash orders just in 30 minutes time. If you want a quieter place on a weekend evening, this is the place to come. I will be back soon!!

I ate at the lunch buffet. It was $7.99. Great for the money. The buffet wasn't very big, but had easily enough to satisfy me. The food was extremely tasty. I absolutely loved the food. The restaurant was practically empty when I went. It's very nice looking and the service was reasonable.

Great Indian food that we’ve tried on a whim. Staying in a local AirBnb and comes highly recommended by our hosts. Lots of people seem to use DoorDash for this restaurant. We saw drivers come and go very frequently during our dining experience. The employees are very funny and friendly.

On evening of 1/21 we had dinner in a very cold restaurant. Then the service was very slow, despite only a few tables occupied. People who ordered after us got served before. Food tasted good. We really liked this place when it was in the prior location. Hopefully our experience was an uncommon one.

This place rules. Super nice people and the food is out of this world. Try the lamb curry extra hot if you are into a little heat in your life. It's balanced so well that no matter how hot it gets the flavor comes through! Not an exaggeration, some of the best Indian dining in the city.
