Frisch's Big Boy

Love me some frisch's yal. Everyone is always greeting customers with a friendly smile. Its always clean and all the worker are making sure you enjoy yourself rather you sit in are get your food to go. I felt so special when I told one of the worker that its my birthday and she wish me a very happy birthday with a wonderful smile on her face. At the end of a long day this is one of my places to go when I want good food and want to be around good people who make you feel like more then just a customer.

Can't say enough good things about our waitress. She was super!! Only 2 servers and dining room was swamped (two large parties of 6 or more, plus multiple 2-4 tops). Both servers had to manage tables, seat guests, take orders, bring out food, and be cashiers. Managers?! Oh they went outside together (break?). They were totally oblivious to anything going on in the dining room. Servers were so overwhelmed they couldn't keep up with busting tables. Food was good and came out quickly. Everything would have been great if the managers had stepped up to help instead of standing behind the counter talking and laughing.

I seated myself because the host took to long to seat us. We did receive our food in a timely manner. The waitress was very friendly. It was her first day and the restaurant was slammed. I left her a great tip. She checked on us often. I can't remember her name. I hope she stays employed for a while.

This big boy always has better food than any of the other ones I go to. However the service is very spotty depending on which server you get. Today I was very lucky to get Keisha. She took my order quickly brought my food out quickly and the food order was correct. I plan on asking for her every time I go there

Frisch's is a hometown favorite burger spot that dresses up their burgers with Frisch's tarter sauce. Yum. I am vegan and they now have a Southwest veggie burger that I get to enjoy from time to time especially when I want a classic Big Boy Burger. I get the Southwest Veggie Burger and instead of the sauce they serve on it I ask for extra tarter sauce. Because what's a Frisch's Big Boy without the tarter sauce! Breakfast is always a plus serving all your classic breakfast faves. They also have a breakfast bar if your dining in and breakfast goes pretty late in the mornings on Sundays. They also have a kids eat for free on Mondays with an adult purchase of $6.98 (ages 12 and under) dine in of course. Variety is definitely on the menu for dinner (including a salad bar) and they also have desserts like the classic hot fudge cake layered with ice cream, carrot cake, cheese cake, pumpkin pie etc. Fairly priced can be expensive on the low end. The Southwest veggie burger is $6.99 and that's just the burger no sides included ???? Frisch's has good food and service is always fast and courteous. I have been to several locations more than once and usually they are the same. The Hot Bar (breakfast/salad bar) can be sub par depending on the time or location you go to. Frisch's is a hometown favorite you can find their Frisch's Tarter Sauce in grocery stores in the city.
