Sorrento's Italian Joint

Food was excellent. We had the sausage dip appetizer, wick was out-of-this-world. The Chairman of the Board pizza was very good. The kitchen was a bit slow but they had a huge party in the main dining room. The new decor was very nice. Great Italian-American vibe.

Service is off the charts. This reboot is off to a great start. Patio area is very nice. Pizza excellent. Great neighborhood joint you must swing by!

Saturday night. Place was packed. Glad to see a Cincinnati icon doing well. Hostess said an hour wait, then after an hour said another hour, we found sits at the bar and had good meal. Staff seemed stressed with the crowd. Bartenders were great! Love the renovation and outside beer garden.

It was okay for Italian food. The atmosphere is great. The restaurant is very well decorated and definitely feels 'Italian'. The food however was just okay for me. I was there for lunch and had the meatball sub. The meatballs were okay, but it was a bit overboard on the marinara which made for a pretty sloppy dining experience.

The server was courteous, but it took a long time between drink refills. You may need to be a little insistent.

We had a most wonderful time! The food was delicious and the service was prompt. We felt as if we had come home even though this was our first visit. The staff was so very nice.
