Park Place Restaurant

I only attended poetry night. At that time it was on Thursday. It has now switched to Wednesday. The food and drinks were great. My favorite was the salmon salad. Yum! The crowd was great for any level of poetry and was patient. Plenty of parking spots which wasn't tight or uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The facility was always clean. Worth every visit!

The staff is amazing not sure how the billing department works. Before having any work done I was given a breakdown and I paid what I was asked. But my insurance sent me a different breakdown showing I over paid. I called and was told they would credit my account or refund me. That doesn't sit right with me. But other than that very happy with the service I received

Great Food ! Great Drinks ! Mixed Crowd Of Young And Older. Great Urban Music If You Love Hip Hop And R&B At A Smooth Level Not To Loud That You Can't Talk And Not Too Quiet That You Hear Everyone Else Around You Conversation. Overall Fantastic Place Would've Gave More Stars If I Could've Just For Being Able To Have The Option Of Eating Anything Off The Menu Because It's Turkey Based Or Fish Or Vegetarian I Was In Heaven ! I Will Definitely Be Back

Think of a urban elegant spot in the heart of the art district in Philadelphia. Park place has soul. Vibes galore, a world within a world. I've only experienced this venue, restaurant, and bar from a creative aspect: poetry, spoken word, singing. Open mic takes place on Wednesday evening. Open mic night is an experience. So much talent. Parking is available and there's plenty of it. The food is good, so I've heard. Park place is easy to notice from normal traffic, however you must access it from Kemper Meadow. There's a shared driveway, so, go slow. I've heard many good things about Park place and so far it all holds true. To all my urban folk, those who have a way with words, those who appreciate the artistry of the inner being, check it out. Also the football games are shown here, boxing matches, you name it. So if you like to kick it and be social or you just want to chill, go here. Just pick the right night.
