    So the empanadas LOOKED like typical Puerto rican cuisine BUT the seasonings were NOT! Altho tasty it wasnt what I was expecting.

    Good, authentic, inexpensive food. (I had the jerk chicken stew.) More flavorful than spicy. A good value. Operates primarily as a take out restaurant, but has comfortable seating if you want to eat there.

    The food was excellent. They make their own tortillas, in store. The cherizo alone is worth a visit. Nice selection of meats to buy to take home too. Not the most charming place, ambiance wise but who cares?
