I had 3 different kinds of tacos. They were good. I am excited to try the "turtle" next time. The server says it's what they're known for, and it's their version of a burrito. It looks really tasty. The spicy taco was my favorite (think it's called Diablo). I also had the Baja and Southwest styles.
Great food, lovely atmosphere very diverse culturally. Counter service For food and a full bar. Awesome prices and its in my neighborhood, what's not to like. 5 stars, love it
Love this place. So glad they now have a location with seating. Fair prices, quick service. I highly recommend getting one of the turtles. Pretty good draft selection too. Street parking is usually available really close.
A local favorite. Their tacos and Mexican inspired cuisine is very good and reminiscent of the offerings of modern culinary takes found in other major cities. Their low key but chic and trendy environment turns over quickly so don't worry if there is a wait. However the space inside is small, they have bar and counter top seating as well as tables. It can be a little loud if you're sensitive to that (I wasn't bothered at all but it's worth noting that if you have hearing trouble it can get a little noisy). There is also a party room upstairs.
The drinks were nothing fancy but were tasty and if nothing else strong. The queso has a little kick but can vary a little based on the day. The real winner in the restaurant is the turtle shell. This is similar to taco Bell's crunch rap supreme in shape and concept only, the ingredients are what count here. The take out options are quick and they give you the same amounts of food as dining in which can be an issue at other restaurants and I really appreciated.
Cool environment. Friendly staff. Food was good. Queso didn't hit the mark, it tasted like roux and not like cheese. Margarita was surprisingly awesome, and not too sweet or syrupy.
Hard to beat for the price!
