First Watch

Appearance, smell, taste, and my over medium eggs was just how I like! Delicious! Thank You! Simple and regular breakfast food. WOW!

1st time at this particular 1st watch location. Great ambience. Nice clean building. The food was delicious but could have been warmer. I will go again. They have excellent coffee. Our waitress was attentive.

The staff has spurned my request for an omelet that is "roughly the size and volume of Michael Moore's head, hat included." They carried me through the kitchen on a large baking tray and tarred & feathered me with waffle batter and sweet n' low packets. And they were right to do so. I now have a highly glutenous coating on my clothes and a sweet but somehow slightly disgusting aftertaste in my mouth. 5 stars, would go back.

I like First Watch as a reliable breakfast option. There is one located in my town and another less than 15 min away. I typically prefer to visit a local breakfast spot when I travel, but when I don't find one - I know they're a safe option for quality food and service. This one missed on a couple of marks.
First - I was seated by the hostess station. The edge of the booth was no more than 4 feet away. There were plenty of open seats and I thought that to be an odd location, given the current pandemic.
Second - They forget my order of Million Dollar Bacon. I rarely indulge in candied bacon and was looking forward to it. They did not charge me, but also did not realize it had not arrived until midway into my breakfast sandwich.
Third - For being one of only 3 tables sat at the time, I feel the wait time was excessive.
That said, the food that did arrive was fresh and delicious. The server was professional and courteous, but not very personable or friendly. Conclusion: The food was good. The experience was lacking. I'd eat there again, but don't foresee myself recommending this location.
