Kanji OTR

So happy this space has opened. Kudos to any business opening during COVID. We’ve been several times and enjoyed the food and wonderful staff. One small niggle - the lighting is way too bright at night. If the lighting could be dimmed or altered to suit the night mood that would be awesome!

Staff is always super friendly and attentive! Sushi is good, especially if you go during half price hours. Entrees are well made if a little on the bland side. It's a good overall experience, but nothing that reaches out and grabs you, and a little pricey. I do recommend the shrub cocktails.

This sushi was AMAZING, tasted SO fresh and it took not even 10 minutes to get our sushi- which was three rolls total. Great vibe there, super chill and relaxing. Totally recommend!

Kanji is a much needed affordable sushi spot in OTR! All sushi is half priced for dine in. My husband and I got 7 rolls (enough for a boat) and several drinks and the bill was around $60. The food was excellent. I'm not impressed with most sushi in Cincinnati, but this place is very good. They rival Drunken Bento in Clifton (a well known local favorite).

Kanji is conveniently located directly across from Findlay Market. The interior is quite small, so it's ideal for smaller groups. Though there's space for larger parties. The decor is airy and modern with a lot of natural wood and plants. All the staff were super friendly and ready to answer questions.

The service is 100! The music playing is 100! The atmosphere is 100! We had drinks, food and fun. The sushi was absolutely delicious. We saw so many awesome dishes passing by us. Already planning next visit. Please check them out. You will be glad you did.
