Raya Lebanese Restaurant

As others have stated, it is very busy in there at lunchtime, but if you walk into a restaurant at lunchtime, and it's empty, there's probably a good reason for that. Here, it is just the owner cooking, and one server, and they do an amazing job under the circumstances. You want blazing-fast service and mediocre food, go to Subway.

Having said that, I waited 20-25 mins for my takeout last time, and I don't even care--this is fresh and flavorful and made with love by a real person with a real restaurant. I want to try other things there, but I can't get over the piping-hot fluffy gyro, and those seasoned fries!

Mediterranean food here - delicious. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. Quick, helpful, and friendly service.

Real authentic Mediterranean. There is a home cooked element that we really enjoy. We usually head to Washington Park after. Good times with the wife.

Mediterranean food and the feeling here is great. I love visiting here. The staff was sociable and attentive. This place has a nice feel to it.

They were so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious and fresh! I got the shawarma wrap and would highly recommend it. They are close to the convention center and you get a good amount of food for a great price! Definitely worth it!
