The Pony

Recently relocated to Cincinatti. Had heard of this place and then met the owner on day. I hadn't lived in Buffalo for 10 years and was happy to hear they offered some of the comfort foods best known to the locals in WNY.
Ofcourse I had the Beef on Weck and it did not disappoint, the Beef and roll were delicious. The horseradish was very tasty as we're the fries and gravy, very much how I remember.
The staff was friendly. The food was prepared quickly, hot and fresh. Once the bartender finished chatting with some regular patrons who came in for a meal, I quickly received my food. Once I had the needed fork and napkins that were missed initially (very much needed item to wipe the juice off my face, lol) I dug in and it was oh so good.
Next time I'll try the wings. The menu offers many tasty looking options. Along with the location and atmosphere, I'm sure to bring my guests to sample their version of Buffalo cuisine.

The Pony gets it. Food is great - especially the wings and daily specials. Great beer selections. In heart of historic OTR neighborhood.

Best fried chicken in the city. Friendly yet often loud neighborhood joint that is a must try for anyone in Over the Rhine. For a quieter experience join them on non game days ????

Wings are all they're cracked up to be. If you're like me and love small crispy fried wings, not the giant rubbery ones found at most places these days, these are the ticket.

Excellent Pub!! Great beer selection. Very lively and friendly atmosphere. Damn good Burgers and cheese fries!! ????
