“Ropers has some of the best Chess and Sweet Potato pie I have ever tasted. The pies are moist, creamy and delicious. I had tried other Chess pies but they were too sweet and I did not like the crust. These pies are great. I was told the lemon pie is excellent too and I will also be trying that one too. “Great neighborhood place. I'm certain they could film a version of "Cheers" TV show here. Menu varies from great pub fare to an ostrich burger. Potato rags are THE BEST!! Service quick and attentive. After we ordered, the dining room was fairly empty when suddenly, the volume of the music WENT WAY UP!! Our waitress was kind enough to ask the bar servers to turn it down, and they did! Later in the evening, when the place was really rocking, the volume was louder to match the crowd- no problem there. The bar was in full swing, just like the pool table. Very enjoyable evening!”

“I think Marco's is the best chain pizza. Better than domino's for sure. The dough is better, and so is the sauce. They have awesome crust toppings too, I always get butter garlic parmesan crust. A little greasy, but it's butter on pizza so that's not a bad thing. Go for the old world pepperoni, it's a game changer. Top tier cheesy bread.”

They only serve brunch on Sundays and not only is it delicious, but it's often overlooked with all the other bunch places around the area, so it's not nearly as busy as most places at that time. “We went for the first time and at first, we thought, no not going to like it. We weren't sure what to order, we all got something different. We loved the food, not liked- loved. My girl's who eat nothing, ate every bite. I got a turkey club, salad, and chili combo. Every bite was good. Daughter got pizza, it was amazing!!
