This is a surprisingly good place for a children's birthday party. This particular Chuck-E-Cheese was not extremely crowded, was reasonably clean, and had a staff that knew when to be helpful and when to stay out of their way. The games all seemed to have at least one weak point which a lucky or merely persistent player would inevitably hit, yielding a massive amount of nearly worthless tickets. This was very satisfying for the kids. A cringe-worthy performance by a costumed live-action Chuck-E-Cheese and his talking assistant completed are nearly magical experience. Recommended, but I wouldn't go there for the pizza.
This location is really improving. We stopped bringing our son here a few years ago because this location was starting to get dirty and rundown. Now that our daughter is old enough to enjoy this kind of place she decided she really wanted to have her birthday party here. We were quite surprised when we did because the building and play areas were much cleaner, the staff was also much nicer and more helpful.
We were there for a birthday party and it was very busy. My only complaints are when Chuck E. Cheese came out to dance with the kids, he wasn't friendly at all. He danced and threw out tickets. No interaction at all. Kids were trying to hug him, high five, etc- nothing, no pictures either. Not the CEC I remember. We tried to feed our tickets to the ticket eaters and at least half were jammed. Line to redeem tickets was at least 8 deep. Games were working, food was decent. Kids had fun. Prices have increased since using the cards are the norm.
