El Picante

Every place is different... Visited on Cinco de Mayo... was seated right where we wanted by the open air roll downs in the front. It was perfect, like being on someone's patio. Even though the place was packed, our drinks came immediately, appetizers and entrees with equally impressive speed. The food was hot, fresh and tasty! Some of the platters of food had a visual appeal that also sets this El Picante apart. I tried their traditional margarita on the rocks and it was great but a tad sweet. Definitely upgrade to Patron if in your budget, and maybe make it a double. I also tried the Frosty liter stein of Negra Modelo, and that goes down so smooth after a long hard day, especially with their tasty food. Their home made crock of Caliente sauce was amazing (if you like it hot ask for some of that), it comes with some dishes by default. Easy choices for vegetarians, and the guac rocks. The key was the very attentive service! On the busiest day of the year, we felt like was a VIPs... and in the restaurant business that makes a huge difference. Very pleased.

Great carne asada tacos! Saw the pic on Google today & had to go try them. Worth the drive. Server's were friendly & had no problem with changes to the menu items ordered. Spinach in the dip could be chopped smaller so you get it on all the chips. Definitely going back. Can't wait to try the shredded beef chimichanga!

Sat at the bar, all the TVs were changed to march madness by a customer behind us. Frank was quick,assertive and even made jokes with us. We split carne asada tacos and had margaritas. We will definitely be back, everyone was so nice and food was quick and spicy just the way we like it

Very good service and food. We've been coming since this restaurant's opening and have always left satisfied. Absolutely, I would recommend.
