Cosie on North Bend in Finneytown is a welcome change from all the fast food in the area.
My husband and I decided to try it and support a local shop. We were pleased. I had the caprese sandwich with tomato, pesto, mozzarella cheese on chibata bun. The taste was delicious, the pesto fresh and not overwhelming. The bun nicely chewy.
My husband said his southern sausage sandwich was delicious, but missing the red onion.
We both ordered iced tea. The owner comped us on the drinks because she thought it wasn’t strong enough. True, but where else can I get real black currant tea?
Only open two months, Cosie could become a real hit in the area.

Good atmosphere with high quality food! Would rate 5 stars but didn't get what I ordered.

I'll take partial blame--I ordered by the number and asked for the egg over light and a croissant instead. The number one was sausage, I got bacon. The egg was fried--but fried hard which I just don't like. I asked for a new egg but kept the bacon--no sense wasting bacon and it was delicious and perfectly prepared--just not sausage.

The people working--super sweet and engaging.

The taste of the food--ideal! And coffee--great depth and strength--a MUST for breakfast!

The atmosphere:. Great music--just too loud--likley contributed to the order issues frankly.

Cost:. Honestly not bad but a bit high for the market. The alarm cart eggs at $3/pop is a bit much to me. The actual crossaint, egg, cheese and bacon sandwich for $10 though was spot on because of the quality--served with greens, delicious tomato, a perfectly thin-sliced red onion, and mayo, it made the jump, from a more typical $6-8 sandwich elsewhere, worthwhile!. Another nice upscale touch was the strawberry garnish.

I'll most definitely be back-- I'll just hope for better luck next time and a slightly lowered volume!
