Guido's Restaurant

The food is really good. We got a turkey hoagie once and a pizza another time. The only thing is the wait time. I know it is made to order but it shouldn't take almost an hour to get a pizza.

First time stopping by even though we have passed it many times. Finally got a recommendation from someone that had already been there so we tried it out. The burgers were absolutely amazing. The steak hoagie was also a hit and that is something that I usually steering clear of because most of the time they plain suck. Fries were hot and delicious and even the cottage cheese was great. Not a lot of seating inside, especially if you can't squeeze into the small booths. There is also one outdoor picnic table. There is a great spread on the menu. I suggest giving this one a try on the way to hiking a trail in the Miami Whitewater Forest Park nearby. Maybe even on the way back, too!

Miamitown Burger and pizza cheese fries are the best in the city ...

I stopped in today while I was out riding my motorcycle. I got 2 Coney's and a cup of hot coffee since it's November and cold on the bike. The coffee was hot and fresh, I normally add cream and sweetener but it was so good I had it black. The Coney's were really good. They use their own family recipe for the chili and it was Very good! The restaurant is clean, the service was great, and the food was delicious! I prefer to stop at locally owned family restaurants wherever I'm at. I would definitely recommend Guido's and will stop by the next time I'm in the area.
