“Not a bad little place to stop in for a bite to eat. Plenty of seating and depending on where you sit you have a nice veiw. Some reviews say there was an issue with service time, our experience no issue at all, this must have been resolved. This place location is out of the norm, however that concept can make a place unique. Dismiss some of the comments left and give this place a restart if you will. We thought the service was par for the course.”

“Decent place. Attended for outdoor music event. Didn't know their lot where the picnic tables are located is infested with chiggers. We all had on jeans and boots and they still got our legs. Our whole group was covered in bites. Bring bug spray if going to be outside. You have been warned. Lol.”

“Great neighborhood place. I'm certain they could film a version of "Cheers" TV show here. Menu varies from great pub fare to an ostrich burger. Potato rags are THE BEST!! Service quick and attentive. After we ordered, the dining room was fairly empty when suddenly, the volume of the music WENT WAY UP!! Our waitress was kind enough to ask the bar servers to turn it down, and they did! Later in the evening, when the place was really rocking, the volume was louder to match the crowd- no problem there. The bar was in full swing, just like the pool table. Very enjoyable evening!”

“Had Chinese hot pot before. Saw the sign and thought that was what this was. Was even better. So much easier and faster though. Number 1 delicious food and drink. Food arrived super fast. “I think Marco's is the best chain pizza. Better than domino's for sure. The dough is better, and so is the sauce. They have awesome crust toppings too, I always get butter garlic parmesan crust. A little greasy, but it's butter on pizza so that's not a bad thing. Go for the old world pepperoni, it's a game changer. Top tier cheesy bread.”

“Found at the edge of the old buildings and the new, the location is an absolutely charming throw back to the classic bar. Friendly server, has a pool table in the back. They only serve brunch on Sundays and not only is it delicious, but it's often overlooked with all the other bunch places around the area, so it's not nearly as busy as most places at that time. “We went for the first time and at first, we thought, no not going to like it. We weren't sure what to order, we all got something different. We loved the food, not liked- loved. My girl's who eat nothing, ate every bite. I got a turkey club, salad, and chili combo. Every bite was good. Daughter got pizza, it was amazing!! “From a town where a 192 year old restaurant just closed it is nice to see things that don’t need to change keep going (despite Rookwood Pottery closing). I was first at the City View in 1965 and last in 2012. The bar on the porch has been bent since 1966. The City View is exactly what it should be and exactly what it has always been. Keep it going!”
