Steak 'n Shake

Food is always good at every Steak & Shake I have visited. Service is rarely good. Usually a line of people waiting with many tables/booths available, but all dirty. Almost always have to wait in line to pay/check out because there is no person available to take payment.

I love them! They have a great burger! And an awesome menu for kids. So everyone can be happy.

First time going here. Went with my boyfriend, I ordered the single burger and he ordered the onion burger with chicken fingers. He said his fries were greasy and so was his burger but mine was fine. Tasted pretty good, but I should’ve ordered a double because the patty was very thin. Took about half an hour to get our food after ordering, our waitress (Margaret) checked in on us a few times after we got our food. She was very polite, took another five or six minutes to get our shakes to go. Staff stayed busy and all had positive attitudes, food was good for the low prices, but we probably spent 45-50 minutes total there from waiting to be seated to paying for our order at the counter.
