Sidelines Sports Eatery - Norwalk

Wasn't a fan of the waffle fries. They have a kick like Arby's curly fries. Food was good. Typical sports bar fare. Kids enjoyed it. Friendly staff. Great service.

This place for some reason is getting back lash for previous establishments, its really weird and not really fair.. And I believe in fair reviews not spur of the moment angry reviews.. you know more people need to show better understanding for the hard thankless job of food industry and getting that mistakes can and will happen. If you've never worked in the service industry, well you need too! I guarantee you would have more patience for not life changing "mess" ups!! Also I would like to remind people this is not fast food.. Its a sit down restaurant and I know in this world of impatient I neeeeeed it now generation it's hard to wait but understand good food takes a little more time than a BigMac and fries... Experience wise, I have been here a few times now, all with good service, food and served at a reasonable pace. The prices are no more expensive than other chain restaurants so I am not quite sure why they have a lower rating on here.. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because I don't like the digital menus, not every aspect of life needs to be technologically transformed. Other than that I recommended stopping in and judging them for yourself!

Walked in to pick up a carry out order. Hostess standing there was very nice and polite. Helped me order the food on the phone. Our food was hot when we picked it up. The Hawaiian chicken sandwich meat was fresh and juicy. The bacon was cooked perfectly. And the pineapple was an added touch with the sauces. I would get it again.
