1946 Berry's Restaurant

A great little restaurant! The food is good and the staff is
wonderful. We tried the salmon and the cranberry walnut chicken. Both were very good!

Stopped for lunch with my fiance and her daughter. The atmosphere is amazing, puts you straight into prohibition era Norwalk. It's a bit overpriced for what we received. We ordered the sauerkraut bites, French onion soup, both of the crab cake styles with a salad and twice baked potatoes for sides, and a burger with extra pickles. Both of the crab cakes are very good and fresh, the twice baked potatoes were great. The sauerkraut bites are great. The burger was well seasoned and cooked perfectly with a great toasted bun. The French onion soup was utterly disappointing. Non caramelized onions with microwaved mozzarella that ruins a perfectly seasoned broth and bread. According to the waiter it wasn't the first time this has been a problem. The pickles they provided were spears instead of slices which I know is nit picky but at that price point I'm going to be. Overall I'll try it again but not for a while. I really wonder how much they paid for the plug on kitchen nightmares without being picked apart themselves.

The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. We were there past closing and they never rushed us. I will definitely go back

Was a delicious meal. Everyone extremely friendly. Had the ribs special and more than I could eat. The twice baked potato was huge and delicious. Come here almost every time we come to the area to visit family.

Blue cheese salad was excellent. Crab cakes we're pretty good. My Cuban sandwich just wasn't quite loud enough flavor wise. The decor was very interesting and romantic. The service was first class. I think I would go back again. My sister said her bourbon salmon was excellent.
