Mazza's

Good.food, service could have been better. Came in with a party of 9 but we are easy going. Seemed like we were a hassle because someone from the other side of the restaurant had to wait on us. Didnt feel very welcomed which sucked for the server as she could have gotten another $20 tip.

My organization had an appreciation dinner for our volunteers. Our servers did a great job with keeping everyone's drinks refreshed and kept asking if anyone needed anything. It was a nice buffet style dinner for over 50 people I think they did a great job for such a large crowd. It met my expectations and will definitely use them again for events. Mike personally came and checked on us several times thanks for taking care of us!

This was my first visit to Mazza's. I would say that it was hit and miss. The Mazza salad was quite good. It's a salad is heavy on the garlic with a lot of Gorgonzola cheese crumbles throughout it. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad. Their bread was equally as delicious. I'm not sure if they make it but it was a winner.

I chose the spaghetti and meatballs which I understand from my family is something they have been famous for. It did not disappoint me. The meatballs were soft and absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was also pretty good and a large serving. I would give it an A. It could have used a little more kick in the sauce but that's just my taste.

The miss part of the dinner was some of the dishes other members of the family had. Their white sauces were bland. That seemed to be the constant thread here. It looks like if you stuck with the red sauce you are in pretty good shape.

The bottom line is that I would recommend a visit to Mazza's if you are in Mount Vernon.

I don't usually eat Italian out, but we went. Upon arriving, the place smelled AMAZING. Once seated, staff was great. Suggested a specialized drink, our party of 6 wanted to try. Honestly, it was bad. They immediately apologized and took it off our bill. My prime rib was perfect. We tried the Calamari, which can often be bad. It was absolutely PERFECT. All other meals were great. Awesome staff and manager, who checked on us and chatted for a few minutes. Was well worth the hour plus drive to get there. Will definitely be going back!!!

Wonderful evening! All six of us at our table loved our meals. Large servings, even enough to take some home to enjoy tomorrow. Very attentive service. Great selections with good prices. We will definitely be returning.
