Fun place to go. Decor was very nostalgic. Service, food, menu selection were very good. Staff were very friendly, servers stayed very busy and had great personalities! Prices were very reasonable.

This place is so comfortable & fun!! Service, food and ambiance were excellent. Had a deliciously huge portion of fried mush with eggs - my husband had Gus's favorite b-fast combo (Amazing! complete with sausage gravy & biscuits) Like a walk back in time ❤️

We eat here often and never disappointed. Great food and service. Had one of our favorites this trip, liver and onions. If you like liver, you have to give it a try. You will not find more wonderful onions piled high on your liver anywhere! Yum! Also the best pie around. Give it a try!

The food was good the chips went really well with the burger. I got the build your on burger and I would really recommend it. My cottage cheese was good. My Oreo milkshake was amazing unlike steak and shake there were small chunks of Oreo on the bottom of the milkshake. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good. This might sound like a no brainier but the Sprite was good and carbonated correctly. The chips weren't off brand and we're decent without the burger. The gift shop is good and has everything you could imagine. The only thing bad is that there is barely any salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers. Overall it's a 5 star experience

This place has never disappointed me. It's good comfort food and a decent price. You walk in to the 50's and 60's. The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is nice. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there. Today I ate breakfast (which is served all day) and the eggs, bacon, and toast were hot and yummy. I left feeling satisfied. If you're a Mount Vernon resident you know this is a staple place to eat. If you're coming from out of town skip the usual Fast food joints and relax here. You'll be happy you did.
