MISSION BBQ

After trying it just now for the first time, I will definitely be back. The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was so tender it was practically falling apart. The fries were great and the barbecue sauces were all unique and delicious in their own way. The staff was also SO friendly and accommodating when I told them it was my first time. 10/10!

Went for the first time and got dinner for the family. I spent $75 dollars and would’ve gladly paid more for 4 meals. Even the kids loved it!!!! I’m always skeptical about buying brisket, it was delicious, the ribs were fall off the bone delicious, the greens tasted like my moms, the cornbread too!! They also have old school sodas. I am impressed!! Will be eating there every time I’m in mentor ????

Ordered the Meat platter to split with the family and some fries. The setup is a bit confusing at first glance, more like a fast food experience rather than a sit down restaurant. Also was the waiting area food was a tad bit overcrowded, but manageable. The meats were delicious, but it was only a handful of meats. The sauces tasted unusual, were not sweet enough. Fries were amazing and cooked well. Manager was extremely friendly and energetic. Staff seemed friendly and hard working. Would return.

My new favorite BBQ spot! Been there twice now and everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, atmosphere was very comfortable. All the meats I tried were tender and delicious. The brisket was amazing (I prefer the lean but both were great) and the ribs were the best I've ever had. Mac n cheese was just like homemade, even had the breadcrumbs on top, and the collard greens were to die for. Will definitely be a regular from now on.

Mission BBQ is one of my favorite BBQ places. I was super excited when I head we were getting on in Mentor. The service is always outstanding. The staff are quick and friendly and always willing to help. The food is always good. I've been to the Canyon, OH location a handful of times and the food there is consistent to here. The meats are always good quality and cooked to perfection. The sides are flavorful and you get a good amount of them. I love the selection of glass bottle sodas and then there's a good selection of fountain drinks, tea, and lemonade. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The variety of sauces is enough to please everyone. If you haven't been here, give them a try!
