Brennan's Fish House

Used to really enjoy this place, but it seems like the overall quality has decreased in the past couple years. Hoping that the next visit rings back batter breading on fried items like the super clam strips and higher quality fish.

Brennan's is definitely worth visiting. We drive nearly an hour to dine in their very interesting restaurant/bar. Loads of local pictures of Great Lakes ships and boats adorn the walls along with original naughtical equipment from some of the vessels displayed above and beside the tables. The food is very good. Long-term recipes have been favorites since the original owners sold years ago. Seafood is the natural feature of the menu. Perch and walleye are among our favorites. Service is attentive and friendly and the kitchen is fast. The building is old, but warm with character and updates. It's very clean. Go and enjoy!

Brennan's is the best seafood around. For starters my fiance and I had the New England clan chowder which was delicious. For dinner we had the lightly battered scallop dinner was
SUCCULENT and season to PERFECTION. Everytime I ate a piece of scallop I kept hearing the song I'm in heaven ????????. The service was AWESOME. This was my first time there I will DEFINITELY be back.

Great place to eat. Don't forget to order the signature greasy fries. They warn you about the greasy fries. Great burgers and seafood selections. Great friendly service. A lot better than the next door restaurant. No fuss great food. A great bucket list of restaurant to try. An old restaurant with great tradition.
