    Papa Joe's makes classic homestyle greasy spoon style subs and deep fried fare. Their hot buttered steak is always a winner with mushrooms, onion, and cheese. They do a variety of french fries that are all good along with fantastic onion rings, and fried mushrooms.

    While the food is always good and fresh, sometimes the weekend service is a bit off. The kids running the place were nice but my order was missing an order of fries and my wife found a long hair that was not her own in one of her fried mushrooms.

    For me, these things happen, I'm sure neither issue happened on purpose. While frustrating and a little bit gross, it isn't going to sway me going back again some time when neither I nor my wife want to cook and we want some old school hot subs and good fried bits. It is a good local business and I'm glad to have them around.
