McKenna's Market Newark

Such a beautiful and amazing place! I am so glad something like this is in Newark now and it is such a lovely addition to our community—especially downtown! There so many neat and interesting foods, candies, wines, and other drinks that are offered here and affordable! They even have deli meats and cheeses along with subs and salads made to order! Will definitely be returning to this awesome place!!

Just did our first trip to McKenna's and already can't wait to come back. Spouse and I each got wraps, one Beef & Beef and one Roscoe's Chicken Salad. Both were delicious. Even if you're not a deli sandwich person, their selection of local products is well worth the visit. Their cheese selection, in particular, deserves kudos as it far outpaces chain supermarkets in both unique flavors and affordability. This shop is just what the square needed. Highly recommend.

Amazing food for a downtown spot. Subs are just messy enough to enjoy. Love the options. Salad is great fully loaded vinaigrette is exquisite. Baklava is one of the best around Eden one upped skorpios. Ginger Beer for $1.69...love it!!!! Found my new eat out home. Work on the organization of store to make it flow smoothly. Door greeter or make more signs.

A must-see emporium of unique and uncommon goods! Love the restored look of the interior and was highly impressed by the variety of items they carry- everything from local produce to deli meats and cheese, wine, spices, and old school candies & taffy! They even have dog bones! The staff is super friendly as well! Perfect (and appreciated) addition to downtown Newark!

This place is amazing!!! The food is very yummy. It has a deli with very reasonable prices. Subs & salads made fresh to order. They even have icecream. I found some old time candy that I have not seen in years! They have Amish walnut creek food also. You can call in your order ahead if time so that you don't have to wait for it. I would suggest this if you have a short lunch break. The staff was so very nice. There was more stuff than I can mention. This is a wonderful addition to the square. Will be visiting often.
