    Great service and food! Huge portions and excellent choices. Brisket chili is phenomenal. Best chili I have had. Always has unique, delicious specials!

    I really enjoyed the brisket. I had the bourbon honey sauce and it was quite tasty. Very nice service. The casual atmosphere was nice.

    Best food in Vermilion for BBQ, sandwiches, brisket, wings, salads, sweet potato hash, and soups are to die for.. Consistently, always top notch. I crave their Hickory BBQ sauce. Top off your meal with home made bread pudding, so fresj! We want them to move into downtown. We know they will forever pull in a big loyal crowd. My husband is an Architect. If The Pit can find a spot, and move to downtown Vermilion, he will do their drawings ("blueprints") for free.

    Best BBQ around. Sweet potato hash is a must try. It has amazing flavor. With glazed sweet potatoes, with bacon and onion. Fantastic staff.
