Omg Joe Burgers are #1, you have to get a burger if you stop. Super laid back, great prices.

I was hoping for an obscure dive bar and that would be exactly what we found. At first we didn't think it was open. It's a little rough looking place on the corner and had a single truck parked in front. We saw a small open sign so we decided to just go for it. When we walked in there were about 5 people belly up to the bar; one person sipping canned rolling rock, a gentleman at the end of the bar with an empty Budweiser bottle and a coffee mug (interesting since it was about 6pm), another couple guys and finally a man having a Dr pepper. There was a large TV in the corner playing an episode of Dr Phil which everyone was enthralled with. The menu was typical of a small bar/restraunt with burgers, sandwiches and the like. We each opted for a dozen hot wings. Co worker had a coke which was served in a can with a glass of ice and I had a Budweiser bottle. The group commented on the show and talked like old friends. As the show ended our food came out, a basket of nice, steaming hot breaded wings. The wings were sauce less and did not come with anything else. First bite and they were really good! Nice crispy breading, and the heat cooked into them was hot, but not melt your face hot.... I'd say they were "comfortable hot". My co-worker started sweating on his third wing though haha. We talked to the coffee mug guy who. Ended up being Joe and we spent hours listening to his wild stories about life and owning the bar. Joe, thanks for that evening and you bet if I'm ever arou d I'll be back. You have a great life and take care of yourself.

My wife spotted this little place and talked me into trying it. Kind of "what you see is what you get" kind of place. We ordered one of their house specialty burgers. They were messy and huge and amazing, done perfectly to order.
We also ordered fries and onion rings; generous portions, but neither of which were noteworthy for their flavor. That was the only disappointment.
The service at the bar was exceptional, and we watched some old 70's TV show while we ate. Such a fun little lunch date.
Cash only - it's clearly posted on the door and inside. But the prices seem to reflect that; the whole experience was like stepping back in time. Will definitely go back, if only for the atmosphere. Trying the steak special next time!

You go here for the food. Rustic exterior, bare-bones interior. The Hungarian Hamburger (1/2 pound sirloin) is great and pulls in the locals.
