Union Town Provisions

First time stopping-in. I had the veggie frittata and it was delicious. The prices are good, the service is great, and the decor and music is awesome. I will be back. Support small businesses and support Lorain’s regrowth.

I had the Greek salad with smoked salmon which was absolutely delicious..my grand daughter had the ham wrap also very good...I loved the atmosphere.. Everyone was very friendly and very laid back... Definetly will be going back

I had the Ruby Red Rainbow Trout Sandwich ($9.25) and my wife had the Steak Sandwich ($8.75). Both were delicious, but the Steak was better. The bread they were on was very good. They both came with a side salad of greens which was very tasty.
We also got a slice of cake ($4.25), peanut butter/chocolate. It was large and delicious.
We got there about 6:00 on a Tuesday and they closed at 7:00. There were about 6 other people eating. You order and pay at the counter like a casual eatery.

The food is definitely 5 star but that's not the only reason I eat out. The place was far from clean, construction still going on I assume on off hours. Construction dust was everywhere, at least the top of the tables were wiped down. There was no one to greet you at the door so you had to wander in to see what was up. On the day I went the menu was on a clip board by the register, so you felt rushed to order with others coming in behind you. Again with no assistance, we found a table and then were told we had to get our own drinks and silverware! All I could think of during the meal was how they must need the money to continue their construction. I'll definitely wait for waitresses, and other niceties before revisiting.

Fantastic food and baked goods. I had one of the current lunch specials: buffalo chicken wrap that had celery, carrots, and wonderful dressing, combining for a home run taste combo. Coffee was good (as was the old school sugar cane Coke bottles). Will definitely be hitting up this place again.
