The Shipyards

we went the first weekend. It was pretty busy, so the wait to get our drinks and order took quite a while, but the food was amazing when it came and everyone was super friendly, even the owner came over to say hi and check on us.

As this was a soft opening, the kitchen staff and waite staff need to better communicate. The food was good but there was too long of a wait for drinks and food and the food order was not correct. There was very few choices of their own brews. We will give it another chance once kinks are worked out.

First of all, the building itself is amazing and very well renovated, clean and inviting. Have your server give you a tour, you will be impressed. Newly opened for only a few days now, the service and servers were professional, polite and very observant of refilling drinks and clearing empty glasses and plates. And last, the food was fantastic!!! GREAT portions and everything reasonably priced. A great place I would be happy to bring out of town guests and family that represent the history of the Lorain Shipyards. I can't wait to go back!
