    Best food I've had in 10 years! Superb farm to table fare in impeccable setting. Amazing service.

    The reviews looked favorable and the menu was inviting. To say the least, we were pleasantly surprised. The waiter, I believe his name was Adam, was very accommodating and attentive.
    For start we each had one of their signature drinks. Very good! Then we ordered the Break Bread along with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, amazing! My wife had the New York Strip, medium rare (just the way she likes it), and I had the Steak Tip Stroganov. These were served in a timely manner, very hot, very delicious and well worth the visit. We will be coming back. Without a doubt, one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time.

    I cannot say enough good things about the 1833 Restaurant. The service is very good and the food is amazing! I had the Steak Tip Stroganoff, not a traditional menu item. Not only did it taste amazing, it was beautiful! My side was Brussels Sprouts smothered in bacon bits and onion. Excellent! You have to find a reason to come to Oberlin!

    I love the ambiance, and they have a tremendous menu. The Mac and cheese is to die for, and the schnitzel is amazing. Drinks are reasonably priced. Over all a great time to be had.
