The food here is phenomenal! I love that they have a small menu and rotate their options. The flavors are so fresh and bright! The dishes are authentic, take out is super easy, and the staff is very welcoming. Well worth the trip!
Authentic and made-from-scratch Thai food with an inviting, cozy interior of colorful paper lamps and Thai art. The sign advertising the restaurant is worthy of entry into the neighboring art museum. You'd be hard-pressed to find a bar stocked with the kind of Thai liquers and concoctions you'll find here. On a personal note: I arrived at this restaurant at closing after a long bike ride, and the owner of the restaurant said, "sure, we can feed you," and then personally pulled out the stops to provide a sampling of all things Thai. Gregarious and friendly staff, chef, and owner ( I met them all). A worthy addition to this historic college town.
Delicious food!
We ordered Phat Thi and Khao Soi along with a Thai Tea and it was beyond delicious. The curry in the Khao Soi had a refreshing taste to it and very authentic which made it enough to just drink. It had the perfect bit of spice and the soft and crunchy noodle combo was fun. The Phat Thi was just as good and not too much of a fishy taste like most. The Thai Tea is everything and a must with any meal. Everything was amazing, definitely going again!
Phenomenal Thai food. It's a hidden gem, same owner as the Feve. Holds it's own with some of the best Thai I've had living in Chicago.
