Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This restaurant is great .Food was great.However is better to go in the not so busy days if you don't want to wait a long wait.Most of the waitresses are great too.Last time i went was last weekend on Saturday night super busy.Maybe my waitress was super busy so she only came once and another time she send someone else.I notice this older lady had her st waitress before she was Awesome to the clients in spite of the busy restaurant So if you don't like to wait long go on a weekday.Also try their breakfast is Amazing.Hello I am adding today 4/26/19 that I went today again ang it was great .They got a country style fry chicken that is delicious.It comes with 2 sides.On the meal you get 4 pieces of fry chicken.A breast,wing,thigh and drumstick and 2 sides and corn bread or biscuits.

My granddaughter chose this restaurant for our monthly family dinner outing. I was excited; hoping they still had a roast beef bake they'd had on the menu the last time we'd visited. Absolutely not, so lemon pepper grilled trout it was. I don't know much about trout, but I understand now that they're obviously a small fish and apparently, very thin.The flavor & grill on the fish was good, but I do wish the fillets were slightly bigger. It was a slow night (according to our waitress), so service was fast. Overall, this was an average visit.

Very flavorful food with great selections. Service is very good also. I like the wood burning fireplace as well. The restaurant has a nice country feel with an old fashioned style store. Try out sitting in the rocking chairs outside or playing checkers inside. Overall a good experience and will go back.

Tasty food. My favorites are the chicken and dumplings and the macaroni and cheese. My mouth waters just thinking about them. I also enjoy the biscuits as well as the variety of sides they offer. I usually get the fresh apple slices with my meal. The decor is so fun. There is all of this old fashioned stuff everywhere. I'm talking advertisements, signs, tools, pictures, sometimes old comics and other fun things. They have a fun old fashioned brain teaser type game at every table. A fun thing to do while you wait for your food is to look around in the store. They have so much great stuff from clothes to candy and more. I like checking out the sale area. I've found a few really cute shirts and some jewelry there. Trust me if you have never been to a Cracker Barrel you need to.
