Beyond expectations!! :)
My husband and I went here expecting it to be the old place that had been at this location for years. I remembered that it was always good and the food never disappointed. When we got there, I realized the name had changed, and it looked updated but still Mediterranean in style. So I asked and the very sweet owner, and she said they just opened a couple months ago and renewed the place with their own flair and authentic home recipes. The atmosphere was amazing, definitely better and more authentic Mediterranean cuisine than before! The tabbouleh was beyond fantastic as it was always good made by the previous owner, but now it’s great and the owner said she makes it fresh upon each order! The husband and wife team are very friendly and treated us like family right away. The classic “original gyro” definitely was on point and authentic to the core. Super fast service. Clean. Definitely will be going back!

The restaurant was so clean and the staff was so incredibly nice and informative. Great food, fast. Generous portions. Everything we had was extremely fresh. Literally the best grape leaves we have ever eaten! We will be back!

The original gyro was one of the best gyro sandwiches that I have had in the Toledo area. Very fresh ingredients and generous portions. I will be ordering from Taza regularly if the quality and quantity of food remains the same. Thank you for the high quality product!

I was passing through town around lunchtime and looking for a fast food alternative. I dined in. The falafel and lentil soup were fresh and delicious. This family run place was spotless and the service was prompt and friendly.

Absolutely delicious. Clean and friendly. Great service and a great host. Will be back often. The kibbie is fantastic and the gyro's are fantastic. I do recommend . I would add a photo but the food is all gone.
