Great new food fine! Have been twice now and the quality of the food is top notch. The chicken tenders are AMAZING and cooked perfectly. If you are a fan of hot and spicy try them in medium, hot and higher spice levels. Fair warning, I love hot and the medium were equivalent to most places hot and are quite spicy. The fried mashed potatoes, Croquette, is amazing and will keep me coming back for more. I also took my picky eater daughter and she loved the tenders, croquette (which had hidden veggies in it's fried goodness), and the French fries that came with the kids meal. My only hope is that they upgrade their ranch dressing to a thicker ranch dressing for a perfect pairing with their spicy chicken as the current dressing is fancy and a little runny. They offer other a few more delicious sauces to dip as well. I also wish they would include a drink with their combo meals. Otherwise....will definitely be back!

High quality food (made-to-order chicken, which rivals any fried chicken in the area) for reasonable prices, and a nice style that isn't as popular in Toledo! Easily best chicken and waffles around now, and the options for sauces and flavors is great. The owner is always up for suggestions, so I'm sure this place will only get better with time.

Having being a previous patron of Rice Blvd, I was interested to see if the previous quality of food would stick around for Hot Chicken Blvd. And let me just say that it does not disappoint! I ordered the Blvd sandwich on a waffle bun, and was gifted with my new favorite chicken sandwich from anywhere! The chicken was crisp on the exterior and moist on the interior, and the house sauce was delicious. The waffle was fluffy and sweet, and really helped tie the whole thing together. Returning customers will recognize the croquette from Rice Blvd, and remains just as good as it was before, and is now offered as a side for the "meal" option. There is a large menu with very fair prices, and I am happy to say that Hot Chicken Blvd is most definitely worthy of replacing its predecessor. I encourage everyone who was a previous patron and new comers alike to try it out and support this fantastic new restaurant!

We’ve been long-time (former Rice Blvd) customers and were sad to see the restaurant go as many others were. The owner Jun rebranded and reinvented the restaurant for personal reasons, but the key is that Jun is still the owner and anything he touches is perfection. Yes, it’s just chicken, but it’s fun and playful and the menu has a variety of chicken options. We tried the Sunrise Chicken sandwich, the Mac and Chick sandwich and the Hawaiian sandwich. All were great with no complaints.

Another note, they did open up more space by the register for customers in line and waiting for to-go orders (which was a small pain point before). It’s nice to see this taken into consideration during the remodel.

We’ll be back to support this great, new local business. If you were Rice Blvd fans, give this place a visit.
