Generous portions and always fresh. Their French Fries, Chicken Pasta Soup, Alex's and Ceasar Salad are classic fan favorites. The Smoked Salmon Dip is more like a shredded salmon salad with the meat to dressing ratio; I highly recommend if you are a salmon lover. Prime Rib is cooked to perfection with a mountain of Smashed Potatoes. J. Alexander's never disappoints.

We have always loved J's, however I took my family to celebrate my husband's 70th and it was not so great. There were 6 people and in 4 of the 6 orders mistakes were made. The waitress was very nice and repeated back to us what we had ordered. I don't know if she didn't write it down or if the order checker in the kitchen made all these mistakes. Also, my chair was broken. The food tasted superb as always but the $8.00 salad looked like a side salad while the salmon (extra) was a nice chunk of deliciousness.

Excellent service and food. When many nice restaurants are asking $30-50 per entree, J. Alexander has a majority of its options in the $14-28 range. Only steaks rise above $30.

My New York strip Caesar salad was excellent. The spicy chicken plate was excellent as well. Service was smiling and warm, yet professional.

An outer ring of booths are elevated above a center of tables and booths. Lighting is comfortable. Feeling is casually elegant.

I had lunch here and it was amazing! Ordered their Cypress salad w grilled chicken and it did not disappoint. Salad was a nice size, fresh and crisp veggies and delicious vinegarette dressing. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant and facilities were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

I started with tasty smoked salmon dip. My entree was an amazing Hake fish with a divine lemon butter crab sauce. White creamy lemon butter sauce with jumbo lump crab meat. It came with couscous and I had their unique multi-cheese mac & cheese. I love white cream sauces and I have this style of a meal all around the world. This was the BEST I've ever had. Divine, tasty mouth-watering cuisine.
