Fabulous food, the meatloaf was better than mine! Too a while to come out, but worth every second of the wait. The service was excellent.

The food and the service were both great! Came in on a very busy Friday night. Drinks stayed full and didn't wait long for food. The catfish was perfect and the mac and cheese was just how I like it. Everything was hot and generously portioned; half of it is coming home with me for tomorrow! Ended up disliking one of my side dishes and our waitress sent me home with another portion of one of my other sides even though I was going to let it go. She also offered drinks to go - NEVER had service like that. The place was very clean as well, which isn't something I usually notice. Will be back!

This was only my second time dining there, but it was just as good as the first:) Being invited by a family friend (who's related to the owner) makes the experience all the more special. Everyone that works there makes each customer feel right at home. We live a couple of hours away but it's been worth the trip each time!

The best restaurant I have ever been to...both the customer service as well as, the food is absolutely perfect! I recommend any travelers and locals to come to this restaurant with empty bellies because you won't be able to stop eating once you savor the first bite. 5 STARS I wish I could rate them higher!

I have eaten here a couple of times once for a sorority function and it was so good I went back with my daughter and both times the food was amazing!

If you want good home cooking that happens to be at a restaurant this is the place to be!

I grew up eating black eyed peas, cornbread, yams, greens, etc, etc....this is as close to my Mama’s cooking that I’ve ever had!

The restaurant has a comfortable and clean atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home.

If you are looking for an amazing soul food restaurant, this is the place to be!
