Manhattan's Pub 'n Cheer

Manhattan’s has become one of our very favorite places to frequent since we moved up here 5 years ago. I have to say most of our experiences have been nothing short of amazing. We did run into an issue over Mother’s Day. However one visit does not define the restaurant as a whole. For me customer service is everything. I reached out and emailed Manhattan’s with my concerns. They were quick to respond and I must say, went above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate that they took time out of their day to email me explaining how everything played out. They certainly didn’t have to. We will definitely be back soon. I caution anyone who writes a negative review with out giving the staff feedback. It seems like so many people who post a review haven’t given anyone a shot to rectify or explain the current issue. I believe every restaurant deserves a second chance before you “blast” them in a review. (And even then putting anyone on “blast” does no one any good)

Have been going to Manhattans for a few years, our kids introduced us to this eclectic restaurant. The menu is changed up for winter and summer. Chef Ian works his magic in the kitchen. The bar staff remembers what the regulars like. The wait staff is always pleasant and attentive. Lunch and dinner never disappoint, great sandwiches or full meal. We took over the entire restaurant in early August for our daughters wedding. The food was wonderful, prime rib sliders, smoked salmon on toast points, coconut chicken to name a few items on the grazing stations. The wild mushroom and margarita pizza is available any time, very tasty. Red and white sangria made from scratch, craft beers on tap. Great Sunday brunch, always fresh and a good variety. They have live music and a cozy atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend Manhattans to anyone living in Toledo or coming to town.

The perfect place for a great meal. Whether for lunch, dinner or a morning brunch on the weekend. The perfect place for you to catch your favorite local artists perform. The ideal lunch spot for downtown Toledo visit or work. The menu has a large variety of choices and often there are specials. Stop in for a bite or a drink any day and anytime.

A different vibe within the restaurant with vintage interior, serene atmosphere, and nice people who greets cheerfully. Food was good, with nice presentation and efforts. My suggestion ? Stay away from grilled cheese, I literally hated it!!! My friend had fried buttermilk chicken and it seems to be great ! Fries are okay. Staff were good.
