I had the stuffed cabbage -- most excellent. For something of its size its surprisingly light. Doesn't feel heavy at all.
Hot dog has a snap to the casing and the chili had a nice bite to it. Pickles were good, also had bite, at least a little.
The roast beef was good, the gravy slightly salty, but I like it that way.
Only split from my wife and I was over the fries and mashed potatoes. She liked neither, I liked both. But, it takes all kids, right?
You'll want to hit the Sunday brunch if its your first time here. EVERYTHING is good so plan on not eating the rest of the day. You'll leave full and happy. The hot dog chili, pickles and Hungarian noodles were the highlights for me. Also check out their buns...on the wall. Celebrities sign them and they hang them in frames. Stop at the gift shop and grab a jar of pickles and peppers. You literally can't stop eating them, they're worse than potato chips. SO. GOOD.
A great price for this well stocked and maintained buffet. We went to the Mud Hens game afterward which was literally across the street. The only way we could have made it more of a celebration of Toledo was to arrive in a Jeep.
Great experience! Stopped in for lunch. Everything was very tasty, and served very quickly. Waitress was very friendly, as was the manager who stopped by to thank me and my better half for stopping in. Dogs were very tasty, as was the chili and Mac n' cheese. Can't wait to go back!
